Mina e Bryte si sono incontrati per la prima volta nel 2017 ad Accra, in Ghana, e hanno subito legato grazie al comune amore per la musica da club. Da allora hanno pubblicato diversi singoli e l’EP di debutto “Abeka Bugatti” nel 2021. Il duo si esibisce regolarmente in festival come Glastonbury, Primavera, Nyege Nyege Festival e in spettacoli al Jazz Cafe e al Village Underground di Londra. La loro musica è stata sostenuta da importanti esponenti del gusto come Lauren Laverne, Ben UFO, Tom Ravenscroft e Branko. Insieme hanno un’energia contagiosa, con un suono che fonde stili provenienti dal Regno Unito, dal Ghana e da tutto il mondo. I testi multilingue di Bryte si sovrappongono in modo giocoso allo stile di produzione vivace e distintivo di Mina, dimostrando come due artisti provenienti da contesti molto diversi possano unirsi per creare “una musica da club esuberante, appassionata e lungimirante che scivola tra due continenti” (Clash Magazine). Dopo la sua presenza in solo all’edizione Winter 2019, questa volta Mina torna a Dancity insieme a Bryte sabato 22 giugno al Dancity Summer Festival 2024.

Mina and Bryte first met in 2017 in Accra, Ghana, and immediately bonded through their shared love of club music. They have since released several singles and their debut EP ‘Abeka Bugatti’ in 2021. Following her solo appearance at the Winter 2019 edition, this time Mina returns to Dancity alongside Bryte on Saturday 22 June at Dancity Summer Festival 2024.
