Friday, October 24th 2025 marks the return of Dancity Nights at the Serendipity Club in Foligno.
The event conceived by Dancity — which has moved our bodies and inspired our minds over the years — returns to a special place, bound to Dancity by a deep and direct connection. The club, now one of the main reference points for contemporary electronic music in Italy, was born from the meeting between a group of young visionaries (members of the cultural association Dancity) and a local entrepreneur who was just as visionary and forward-looking. It was December 2011 when this unlikely collaboration gave birth to Serendipity.
A club with a European spirit, immediately positioning itself as a cultural hub not only for Foligno and Umbria, but nationwide. Dancity played a key role in shaping its identity, bringing its experience in content creation and curating the Dancity Nights, which from 2011 to 2019 illuminated the venue’s walls with authenticity, experimentation, and avant-garde energy.
From the traditional Kitschmas Parties — always introduced by their quirky teaser videos — to label showcases like Border Community featuring James Holden, Luke Abbott, and Kate Wax (now Aisha Devi), each Dancity at Serendipity night carried its own unique essence. Yet all of them were united by an unbroken fil rouge — an ongoing story that the iconic Foligno club helped consecrate through the emotions of spontaneous dancefloor moments, unheard sounds, and breathtaking performances. Each night was a rediscovery: you could hug old friends or meet new ones over a perfectly mixed cocktail.
The centrality of music as a supreme artistic expression has always been the core ingredient of the Dancity Nights’ magic, nourished by a relentless curiosity for new sounds and new worlds. A sort of “quality seal” that, from Jeff Mills to Grandmaster Flash, Anthony Rother to Robert Hood, Legowelt to Kim Gordon, Francisco to DJ Khalab, including Lena Willikens, Gold Panda, Mala in Cuba, Reshape, and Zenker Brothers (to name just a few), has conveyed a cultural message and a vision of clubbing deeply connected with contemporaneity.
Constant attention and endless curiosity have always driven Dancity to highlight emerging talents and foster authentic interaction with the audience. This magic is made possible by enthusiasm and passion, strengthened by the professionalism of the entire crew — a wonderful team that through the years has made Dancity a bright and unique star in today’s cultural landscape. And it still shines.
The ritual of the Dancity Nights will therefore be celebrated again on Friday, October 24th, bringing its unique magic back to the club that helped it come to life — an enchantment that keeps turning dreams into reality.
