I suoi set allnighter sono difficili da dimenticare, con esempi notevoli in luoghi e festival come Sónar, Pickle Factory, Moog o la Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum di Glasgow. Oltre a suonare, la sua attività di curatore continua ad espandersi, avendo commissionato palchi in festival come Primavera Sound o Nuits Sonores, o portando le serate della sua etichetta Hivern Discs nei club di tutta Europa. An open approach to creation, a need for discovery that defines his tireless pursuit of music, making him one of those rare DJs and producers able to effortlessly juxtapose effectiveness, risk and revelation. His allnighter sets are hard to forget, with notable examples at venues and festivals such as Sónar, Pickle Factory, Moog or the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum in Glasgow. In addition to performing, his work as a curator continues to expand, having commissioned stages at festivals such as Primavera Sound or Nuits Sonores, or taking his Hivern Discs label nights to clubs across Europe. In many ways, his work with the label embodies his conception of music: rigorous and committed, yet constantly dynamic and open to the unexpected. Today, John Talabot continues to push the envelope, including through an ongoing dialogue with like-minded artists. His alliance with Axel Boman in Talaboman has given birth to a new label (The Night Land) and his Lost Scripts duo with Pional continues to provide sparks of brilliance, but these are just two of the many joint projects he currently has in the works.
