Lino Schilling e Pablo Chacon-Pino, i due sound artist dietro Atrice, traggono ispirazione dagli incontri quotidiani e dalla sovrastimolazione digitale. Il loro lavoro è influenzato dalla musica acusmatica ed elettroacustica, pur seguendo un approccio intuitivo. Laureati in composizione, teoria musicale e sound art, manipolano molteplici fonti sonore attraverso il sound design digitale per creare suoni tattili e scultorei. Le loro produzioni sono caratterizzate da diverse tessiture sonore, gesti acustici e transizioni organiche attraverso stati di sospensione. Nelle loro ultime uscite sperimentano con UK bass, club decostruito e techno, oltre a dembow e ambient, dando vita a una grande varietà di stili. I loro set fondono più generi a velocità che vanno dai 90 ai 170 bpm. Come parte del collettivo MIRAS, organizzano eventi, pubblicano musica e costruiscono una piattaforma per sostenere gli artisti della scena svizzera e non solo.

Lino Schilling and Pablo Chacon-Pino, the two sound artists behind Atrice, draw inspiration from everyday encounters and digital overstimulation. Their work is influenced by acousmatic and electroacoustic music while following an intuitive approach. With degrees in composition, music theory and sound art, Lino and Pablo manipulate multiple sound sources through digital sound design to create tactile, sculptural sounds. Their output features varying sonic textures, acoustic gestures and organic transitions through suspended states. On their recent releases, Atrice experiment with UK bass, deconstructed club and techno, as well as dembow and ambient, resulting in a great variety of styles. Their sets fuse multiple genres at speeds ranging from 90 to 170 bpm. As part of the MIRAS collective, they organize events, release music and build a platform to support artists from the Swiss scene and beyond.
