DJ e produttrice canadese, AADJA è stata affascinata dalla musica fin dalla più tenera età, imparando a suonare chitarra, clarinetto, pianoforte, flauto e sassofono baritono, oltre a ricevere una formazione vocale classica. Inizia poi ad avvicinarsi alla musica elettronica e al mondo del djing, fino a quello della produzione. Nel 2019 viene così scritturata dall’etichetta techno italiana di culto Pushmaster Discs: il suo primo EP, “Celestial Path”, include i remix degli eroi dell’underground Deniro e Hector Oaks. L’anno successivo firma con la Trip Recordings di Nina Kraviz e i suoi brani vengono inseriti nelle compilation Hot Steel 1 e 2 dell’etichetta, fino all’EP di sette tracce “Thought Dealer”. È stata in tour ovunque, dal Regno Unito, Francia, Germania, Spagna, Italia, Repubblica Ceca e Svizzera fino a Colombia, Cile e Messico, e si è esibita in alcuni dei club e dei party più ambiti del mondo, tra cui il Possession di Parigi e il Printworks di Londra, suonando al fianco di alcuni dei principali artisti techno, tra cui Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Len Faki, Marcel Dettmann, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte e Anetha. La sua musica può essere definita a grandi linee come una techno veloce ed eterea, che spesso incorpora la sua voce ipnotica, ma gravita piuttosto verso una musica colorata che riflette la sua personalità sfaccettata.

A Canadian DJ and producer, AADJA was fascinated by music from an early age, learning to play guitar, clarinet, piano, flute and baritone saxophone, as well as receiving classical vocal training. She then began to approach electronic music and the world of DJing, all the way up to production. In 2019, she was thus signed by the cult Italian techno label Pushmaster Discs: her first EP, ‘Celestial Path’, includes remixes of underground heroes Deniro and Hector Oaks. The following year she signed with Nina Kraviz’s Trip Recordings and her tracks were included on the label’s Hot Steel 1 and 2 compilations, leading up to the seven-track EP ‘Thought Dealer’. She has toured everywhere from the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic and Switzerland to Colombia, Chile and Mexico, and has performed at some of the world’s most coveted clubs and parties, including Possession in Paris and Printworks in London, playing alongside some of the world’s leading techno artists, including Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Len Faki, Marcel Dettmann, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte and Anetha. His music can be broadly defined as fast and ethereal techno, often incorporating his hypnotic voice, but rather gravitating towards colourful music that reflects his multifaceted personality.
